And that’s a wrap on summer! Fall and frost came hard and fast last week, delivering a final blow to all the tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and other summer favorites. This is relatively early for a hard frost in our area
We had the first hint of a frost this past weekend, at our the farm- a few basil plants were nipped just a little, and tomato production is definitely slowing down. It’s crazy to think that we’re almost done with
I’m beginning to see some leaves start to change color on my morning drive to the farm each day- but if you look in our CSA bags or in the produce cooler, it still looks like the middle of summer!
